This report shows total time spent (billable/non billable breakdown), costs and sales generated for each job.

To access this report go to Reports > Time & Money and select the Total Time & Sales by Job report

You can run this report using the following criteria:

Date Range

Client/Supplier Name

Job Number

Project Number

Branch

Client Manager

Note:  When filtering by a date range, only the jobs that have been invoiced in that date rate will show on the report.

If you filter this report by a date range, Streamtime will ask you if you wish to see all costs for those jobs in the report (regardless of the date they were created) or only show the costs that were created in the date range specified.

You can choose to preview your report, print it, make a PDF or export your report to Excel so you can use the data to create your own reports.

The report shows Client, Client Manager, Job Number and Job Name

Time

The time is broken down into Non-Billable and Billable Time with a total number of hours worked.

Whether a time entry is billable or not is determined when a staff member enters their time against a task.

Costs

The report then shows the cost rates of Time & Materials entries and Purchase Orders.

Remember: If you are running a report using a date range, Streamtime will give you the option to see all costs for those jobs in the report (regardless of the date they were created) or to only show the costs that were entered in the date range you're running the report for.

Time & Material Costs

The cost value of Time & Materials is based first on the cost assigned to the staff member entering in the time on the job. This can be set under the Setup > System Setup > Users section in Streamtime.

Or if you do not apply a cost to a staff member, the cost will come from cost price for the time entry item which can be set in the Cost Matrix.

Order Costs

Orders returned in the report will be any order with an active status.

Note: If you create your own Order statuses you need to make sure they are active so they are picked up by the report.

For more information on understanding active statuses click here

Invoiced is the amount invoiced for each job.

Note: If you are filtering by a date range it will only show the amount invoiced within that date range.

Finally the report shows Gross Profit (Invoiced less Active Orders) and Gross Hourly Rate (Gross Profit divided by Total Time).

Note: All non-home branch figures are converted to the home branch currency using the exchange rate values entered against a branch, unless you search by branch, in which case the result is in the branch currency.
