How do I create Reminders in Streamtime?

This article will take you through how to create reminders against Correspondence, Quotes and Jobs in Streamtime.

Creating a Reminder against Correspondence

To create a reminder against a correspondence item, click the Reminders button once in that correspondence item.

A pop up will appear entitled Reminder, put in a title for this Reminder.

Set the date and time for the Reminder.

The Reminder will automatically be assigned to yourself but you can also assign the Reminder to multiple staff members by holding the ALT/Option key down when making your selection.

You can set an alarm for your Reminder.

And also add some Notes.

Once you have finished click Save.

When you look against that Correspondence item now you will see there is 1 Reminder set.

The reminder will pop up against in Streamtime on the date and time allocated.

Creating a Reminder against a Quote

Reminders can also be set against Quotes/Estimates.

Click the Reminder button on the Quote you wish to set the Reminder for.

Set the Reminder as per the steps above and click Save.

When you look against that Quote now you will see there is 1 Reminder set.

The reminder will pop up against the Quote in Streamtime on the date and time allocated.

Creating a Reminder against a Job

Reminders can also be set against Jobs.

Click the Reminder button on the Job you wish to set the Reminder for.

Set the Reminder as per the steps above and click Save.

When you look against that Job now you will see there is 1 Reminder set.

The reminder will pop up against the Job in Streamtime on the date and time allocated.

Viewing your Reminders

When you create a Reminder in Streamtime it goes into your Streamtime calendar as an event, provided you have your calendar set up to view events.

Getting your Reminders

To get your Reminder you have to be in Streamtime when the Reminder is due.

When your screen next refreshes you will get a pop up showing you have a Reminder.

If your Reminder is linked to a Correspondence item then there will be an option to View that Correspondence item. There's also an option to Delete or Close the Reminder.

If your Reminder is linked to a Quote then there will be an option to View that Quote/Estimate or you can Delete or Close the Reminder.

If your Reminder is linked to a Job item then there will be an option to View that Job. Again, the option to Delete or Close the Reminder will also be available.
