Create your Quote

Start by creating a Quote as usual, selecting a Category and Task & Material from the drop down menus, changing the Details field and adding in the number of hours for each item.

To create the Quote so it has subtotals on it, we need to use the Order column. By using a combination of letters with a forward slash between them e.g. A/A, A/B etc. this tells Streamtime which items to subtotal.

So what do the letter combinations mean?

Well the first letter tells Streamtime which items to subtotal. So the first 3 items beginning with the letter A will be subtotaled (1), and the next 5 items beginning with the letter B will be subtotaled (2) etc.

The second letter after the forward slash ( / ) tells Streamtime which order to put the items in.

So on this Quote the items grouped with the letter A will be in the following order: Client Service Fees, Account Director, Account Executive.

Once you are happy with your Order you can then click the Print/Send button.

In the Print Centre popup select the Print form called 'Quote with Subtotals' then click print.
