When attempting to email a form from Streamtime directly to the client, an error sometimes appears.

Filemac Error (Mac)

The error advises that there was an issue saving the pdf to the temporary folder while it is being transferred across to your email application.

First check that the version of FileMaker Pro installed on your machine is compatible with the machine operating system.

Using a MAC

1.

The most Common cause is from an auto Update to Outlook. It appears to break the link between FileMaker and Outlook. If you are using Outlook then:

- Close Outlook.

- Try and Send an email from Streamtime.

This should then force the link between the two programs

2.

Sometime the 'Default email reader' will be something other than Mail or Outlook.

To find these preferences you need to open Mail and go to Preferences > General tab. Here you will be able to see what it is set to. If it is set to 'Chrome' or another option other than Mail then you will just need to click on the drop down and re-select Mail.

Please note that if you do not have Mail Set up you will need to in order to get into the default mail settings.

Filewin Error (Windows 7)

The error advises that there was an issue saving the pdf to the temporary folder while it is being transferred across to your email application.

Resolution

- Click "Start" then "Default Programs"
- Once the window pops up, click on "Set program access and computer defaults
- Click on "Custom" and from there you can set your computer's default e-mail client (Windows Live Mail, Outlook). Set the mail application you are using as the default.

Test Emailing a PDF from Streamtime again.
